I'm very excited about The Mystery
of Lewis Carroll,
the new book I'm writing about Carroll - it will be published by Haus
Publishing in 2009. It's a biographical portrait which uses some
new and little-known
information to present an accessible but authoritative impression
of Carroll the human being.

VICTORIAN BANK ACCOUNTS

Unfortunately, this book is sold out, although there are copies in
many libraries. If you would like to go on the list to be told if a
copy becomes available, please fill in this

Some readers have made useful comments and suggestions, and tried to identify some of the people whose names appear in the bank account. I have been putting these on the updates page so they are available to all.
CHARITIES
You might be interested to see the long list of charities and good causes which Carroll is known to have supported, and learn a bit about them. It is likely that he also supported other charities, but in a less organised way.
